Since 1980 OMV has been a reference partner in the production of hydraulic cylinders meeting the different requirements of the handling, building, heavy industry, shipbuilding and special transport sectors.
The internal technical department, whose team is composed by specialized engineers and technicians, is able to develop and to design any hydraulic cylinder according to customers’ specific requests. OMV, in particular, designs and manufactures hydraulic cylinders with and without stroke end dampers, with proximity switches, cylinders with front and rear locking, air-oil and oil-oil pressure multipliers, constant and variable speed double-acting telescopic cylinders, with bores from 80 mm to 400 mm diameter with max. working stroke of 4000 mm, with working pressures up to 380 bars and testing pressure that reaches 550 bars.
All machining processes are in-house executed, in the productive factory at Caresanablot, taking up an overall surface of 12,000 square metres, 7,000 of which covered. A process that starts from the use of high-quality steels, controlled and guaranteed by the major sector suppliers.
The forefront computerized system of OMV allows tracing any production phase. Every product is tested at the process end while at any process steps are executed controls assuring a compliant product, suitable for various application fields, to customers.
OMV, in order to satisfy its customers’ varied needs of mounting certified cylinders on their machinery, collaborates with all certifying bodies operating on the national territory, granting a complete service from the dossier opening to the delivery of the tested material.
OMV headquarters house a wide magazine will all necessary components for machining, assuring a correct and immediate use of any product in the various productive phases.
